Down Syndrome Association of the Valley

I recently had the pleasure to meet Michele Jones, the President of Down Syndrome Association of the Valley (DSAV).  DSAV serves Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania as a regional support group. She was excited to share some of the opportunities that DSAV has to offer people with Down Syndrome and their families.  Down Syndrome Association of the Valley provides everything from support, resources, education, advocacy, and opportunities. This outreach impacts not only people with Down Syndrome and their families, but also our communities.

Down Syndrome Association of the Valley offer so many programs for all ages from coffee time meet and greet,  iCAN Shine Bike Camp, yoga, Buddy Walk, the cooking and nutrition program, and so much more. They also offer a medical outreach program that provides information about Down syndrome to families and healthcare providers seeking information.

Any and all families are welcome. Membership is free! You can join by visiting their website at dsav.org/membership Direct questions to office@dsav.org or call the DSAV Center for Success 330-726-3728.

These excellent programs and resources are making a positive impact for our communities. For more information on Down Syndrome Association of the Valley visit dsav.org. Or connect with them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
