There is a wonderful art studio in Butler, located just north of the Clearview Mall called Steele’s Brushes and Ceramics. They’ve got some really cool things going on there to spark that creativity. Most recently they’ve started sessions called “Crafting Connections-Empowering All Abilities.” These sessions take place Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. and were developed for adults with disabilities so that they can show off their creative skills. It allows folks to have the opportunity to get out into the community and also to meet others who share similar interests in crafting.

The studio offers a safe environment that is wheelchair accessible. The Steele’s Brushes and Ceramics staff are available to ensure everyone has what they need to utilize their abilities to create fabulous works of art. Their spots are limited to 12 people to ensure that everyone attending is able to have that extra support to complete their artistic masterpieces. Attendees from all areas and programs are encouraged to sign up and attend with their support person, who is also welcome to participate. There are weekly projects that vibe with the seasons and holidays and the most fantastic part about this is it is only $5 a person!! Don’t wait to get in touch with the studio. Get signed up with their contact information below.
