Introducing the ‘Pocket HCQU’ App!
According to the Pew Research Center, 95% of Americans own a cell phone and 77% of adults in the United States own a smartphone. Back in 2011, that number was only 35%.
These days, it’s so much easier to just pull a phone out of your pocket than to go open up a computer. Plus, it’s not like you bring your computer with you everywhere you go. When you need information or want to get something done, your smartphone is easily accessible. With so many people owning and using mobile devices on a daily basis, technology is more accessible than ever before. At Milestone HCQU West, we saw this as an opportunity to connect with the people we serve in a very meaningful way – through their smartphones!
Our new app, Pocket HCQU, is designed for families and providers who support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) or Autism. Pocket HCQU quickly and easily connects you to relevant information, tools, resources, and innovative supports – in a bite sized, functional, convenient interface all in the palm of your hand! And, best of all, it’s FREE!! That’s right… free, free, FREE!
Pocket HCQU is intended to be a tool that connects you to information and services. As such, we do not collect or use any data about users who download it. Permission to access the user’s location is requested solely for the purpose of tracking aggregate data about where the app is being used/accessed. Access to your geographic location is not necessary for the app to work properly and can be turned off at any time.
Our goal is to optimize your experience with our organization and provide easily accessible tools and information to aid in supporting people with IDD or Autism.
Pocket HCQU is completely FREE and available now for iPhone and Android (phones only). Click here from your desktop computer to preview our app before downloading it! You can also share the link with your IT team to preview before downloading.
