Look Who’s Cooking With Thyme in Your Kitchen
Who knew this kitchen would come to life with so much laughter, enthusiasm and passion about cooking!
This is our third cooking class at Thyme In Your Kitchen! The excitement builds each and every time we have this class!
Just in case you missed out on the fun thyme … Let me take you on the tour of our class…
Picture yourself with an apron on and waiting at your station preparing for the thyme of your life!
We start off with introductions and a brief discussion about Kitchen Safety! Chef Garron starts with discussion about the meal being prepared.
Today, is chicken Alfredo, steamed broccoli and a very berry fruit salad!
Throughout the class, participants move around each station creating the pieces of this meal and making new friends along the way!
Everyone starts with making the homemade Alfredo sauce. They shred Parmesan cheese and add it to the pan while the aroma of butter and garlic simmers in the pan.
The chicken gets basted with herbs and put on the grill.
At the same time, the broccoli is being steamed!
It’s time to make the fettucine …The process of making light, springy, delicate fresh pasta is about to begin! We knead the dough and send it through the roller and the pasta maker. Looks like we have pasta! Lots of pasta!
Last … Let’s put it all together!
OH it’s so GOOD!!
After all the preparation, everyone gets to enjoy the fruits of their labor…. Oh and did someone say fruit? How about very berry fruit salad for dessert!
